To login to library resources, please use your Saint Leo University Login and password.  If you have a problem, please review these guidelines concerning logging in and passwords.

D2L (our new online learning platform (1/2017)

WHAT’S D2L?
D2L is an education tool Saint Leo University instructors have available for their face-to-face courses. Just as
textbooks, videos, whiteboards, and handouts are course tools, so is D2L. Your instructor will use D2L to post
your course syllabus as well as mid-term and final grades. Your instructor may post lecture notes, PowerPoints,
assignments, class announcements and more in D2L. Please take a moment to read this brief document to
understand how to access D2L.


START-END DATES
D2L access will begin on the first day of your class. D2L access will end two weeks after the semester ends.

HOW TO ACCESS D2L
To access D2L, go to the Saint Leo University portal at http://portal.saintleo.edu and follow the steps below to
 Enter your User ID and Password.
 Under Online Services on the right side of the page, please click on D2L.
 Under My Courses on the left side of the page, locate your course link(s) and click on the course you
would like to access.

If you have any problems logging in, please contact technical support at Ext. 8888 or, if you are off campus
352-588-8888

IMPORTANT: D2L TUTORIAL
In the upper left corner of your initial landing page, you will see a D2L Tutorial. The tutorial provides
information which will familiarize you with D2L functionality.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
D2L is accessible from any computer, tablet, or smartphone as long as your device has internet access and meets the technical requirements. Computers labs at your campus or center already meet these technical requirements.
