I completed a step by step instruction guide with screen shots showing him how to access the library website from the main campus website (I advised the student that he is unable to access the library for the LearningStudio page) and then I showed him how to access the databases, and then showed a search in EBSCO and ProQuest.  Within the EBSCO section, I told him about the main concepts of his topic and those are the terms that we will search, but first, I showed him how to check individual databases that fit into his search and why I chose them.  From there, I showed him each part of the search process and how to locate relevant articles using the filters as well as how to print, save, cite, email the article.  I then did the same search in ProQuest.
