To access a specific online journal, follow the instructions below:

A-Z List for E-Resources  (Tells you which journals are available online and locates appropriate database.)

Go to our library web page at

Under Find Info, click on A-Z List for E-Resources, then select click here to access the A-Z List for


In the Find box, type in the journal title (not the title of the article, a common mistake).

Scroll down to the title that matches and select a corresponding database in blue text that includes the year that you need.

On the login page, enter your SLU username & password (first name.last name, and the password you use for your SLU email or the portal).

(You may need to click on the allow pop-ups message, and re-select the database.)

You can "Search through this publication" or select a particular issue.

If you  have a citation, click on the year and then the issue that matches your citation.

Scroll down or select “next screen” until you find the article you need in that issue.
