There are two good sources for writing a thesis statement that can be found on our writing instructors’ LibGuide from the link in the Links & Files area.

For annotated bibliographies, the Purdue University’s Online Writing Lab (OWL) website has excellent resources for students writing annotated bibliographies, including examples. A link to this resource can be found in the Links & Files area.

I also asked our writing instructor, John-David Harding, what he would recommend, and he suggests two straightforward, no-frills guides to creating an annotated bibliography in APA style that are included in the Links & Files area as well.

If your students need help writing their assignments, please direct them to John-David at john.harding@saintleo.edu or Angel Jimenez at angel.jimenez@saintleo.edu
