- Select the Publication date to bring up the time frame your professor is looking... the default is "All time," "past 12 months," "past 5 years," and "past 10 years." If you are not satisfied with the given options you can click on "Advance search and click on custom range" which will provide you the flexibility
- Click on the magnifying glass to begin your search.
- Click on "Access now" or "access options" to view the article. The "access options" provides you two different ways to view the same article.
- If you don't get the results you're looking for, or too many, try other relevant terms.
Journal Articles – ProQuest Database
- Go to our library homepage at http://slulibrary.saintleo.edu
- Click the Databases.
- Select ProQuest One.
- Click on the Advance Search Option Screen
- Type your search terms: in two or more search boxes, separated by AND, OR, or NOT and SEARCH.
- You may want to limit to "Full text" and "peer reviewed"
- You can also adjust the publication date by selecting one of the predetermined options in the drop down menu (All dates, last 7 days, last 30 days, last 3 months, etc...) this will allow you to customize the dates to precisely when you need it.
- Click on search.
- If you don't get the results you're looking for, or too many, try other relevant terms.
