You are probably using Word online rather than having Word downloaded on your computer.

This is easy to fix.  YouTube video step by step

  1. Log into OKTA
  2. Click on the button for Office 365
  3. Click YES to continue
  4. Click the button to install Office (top right corner)
  5. Once in is done downloading, open your new copy of Word
  6. The Zotero tab should appear.
  7. When all else fails . . . RESTART your computer. This usually fixes the issue.
