I've attached a document that shows examples of a bill at the federal level and a bill at the state level.

You need to find out the following things:

  • The bill title
  • The bill number
  • The name of the legislative body
  • The number of the session
  • The state
  • The year
  • The URL for the full text of the bill.

An example for Florida:

Child Welfare, SB 7034, 2022 Reg. Sess. (Fla. 2022). https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2022/7034/BillText/er/PDF

Please ask a librarian for help if you get frustrated. Legal references are not easy.
