Using the CAARP system can help you deterine if the information you have located is reliable and accurate.

Current?  Is the information up-to-date?

Authority: Who/What is the source, and is the person or orgnization/group considered to be reliable, abnd an expert?

Accurate: Is the information truthful, correct?

Relevance: Does the information you have located apply to the question you are attempting to answer?

Purpose: Why did the author(s) create this information, what is the reason the information exists?
